Tolox, White Village, 3.500 habitants, 360 above see level. The village was originaly built by the Romans with its narrow streets, white washed houses and Arrabic roof tiling.
Tolox is a White Village, Moorish and completely unspoilt by tourism, souvenirs and shops; you will only find peace, calm, and old world charme set the pace of life here.
There is Spa, established in 1867. People come here from all over the world for the wonderful healing properties of the water, curing many conditions from asthma, cronic bronchitis and emphysema to kidney stones and diuretics problems.

- FLORA AND FAUNA.
With a good rain fall, the mountains areas are covered in vegetation and tress bearing many fruits and brillant colors. The animals and bird life range from the mountain goat to deer, mongoose to eagle owl, eagles and vultures, the list is impressive and endless.
- CAVES AND POTHOLES
One of the deepest pothole in Europe, the GESM drops 1.098 m., the sima dela Tinaja, 5 kms from Tolox is 54 m. deep. There are dozens of listed caves and potholes and it could take years to explore them all.
- BIRD WATCHING
A prime area in Andalucia for bird watching. River valley, forest, mountain.
- SIERRA DE LAS NIEVES - NATURAL PARK
The 20.000 hectares have been declared a biosphere reserve by the UNESCO. Home of the highest mountain in province of Malaga, la Torcilla (1.919 m.).it includes 2.000 hectares of pine forest plus other areas of Oak, Carrob, Wild Olive, Cork Oak, Spanish Pine, Maple and many more.
