This is one of the few courses surrounded by large pine trees, this course was closed for many years and reopened in 2006. El Chaparral is one of the only courses on the Costa Del Sol that brings 6 par 5's,6 par 3's and 6 par 4's with a par 72 is well worth a visit. The course present a very satisfying challenge that will test your accuracy as it isn't the longest on the coast, measuring 5649metres/6215yards from the whites and 5402metres/6002yards from the yellows. El Chaparral also has brilliant practice facilities with a big undulating putting green which overlooks the two tiered driving range where you can warm up for the round ahead. The added bonus of playing El Chaparral is the unique surroundings of vegetation and pine trees which makes the course nicely tree lined and punishes any wayward drives, the course suits all standards of golf from beginners to experienced player and we would recommend a buggy.
