The Marina complex of Puerto la Duquesa on the western Costa del Sol, southern Spain is situated midway between the villages of Castillo de la Duquesa and San Luis de Sabinillas and has been awarded the FEE Blue Flag for the quality of its facilities and surroundings, a fact easily understood when you pay it a visit.
Puerto la Duquesa has much to offer with numerous bars and restaurants with international cuisine, including Indian, Italian, Mexican, Italian, Chinese, UK and Ireland, and of course Spain. There also numerous quiet cafe where you can sit and watch the world go by and lively sports bar showing the latest match or golf tournament.
It is a working marina, used by both pleasure craft and the local fishermen. For those of you who want to take to the water there are a number of options available in the way of boat rides, dolphin spotting, fishing trips, etc., along with a fully RYA qualified sea school providing courses for both sailing and motor vessels and a dive school.
Apart from the bars, cafes and restaurants there are number of shops and boutiques making Puerto de la Duquesa a village in its own right.
For beach lovers, Puerto de la Duquesa is flanked either side by beautiful sandy beaches which, even at the height of summer, are never overcrowded.

Just before the entrance to Duquesa Port you will find the Tourist Office which will provide you with most of the information you will need to make your stay a pleasant one.
It is also a fantastic place for golf fanatics with Doña Julia Golf, Finca Cortesin, Casares Golf (9 holes) and also across the road from the Port is the Robert Trent Jones designed Golf La Duquesa. And within an easy 15 minute drive are several top quality golf courses including the world-famous Valderrama, home of the Andalucia Masters, San Roque Golf, Alcaidesa Links, the only links on the coast.
